"Two weeks before. I freaked out. After all that time I was afraid I would fail. I didn't want to do it. I rested, I stopped practicing. Dafna said I knew everything perfectly. My Bar Mitzvah was amazing. I did a really great job!"

HOW WE CREATE a BAR/BAT MITZVAH CEREMONY

I have a Torah and a Portable Torah Ark

Ceremony includes traditional and alternative Jewish rituals for the 21st century that fit your student's needs

The Bar/Bat Mitzvah student is given an opportunity to shine in a Jewish context

The ceremony or service can take place on: Friday evening "Erev Shabbat," or Saturday "Shabbat" morning or Sunday morning,  Saturday evening "Havdallah", the New Moon "Rosh Chodesh" or as part of a holiday celebration such as Hannukah, Purim or Sukkot.

We create a holy place through our intention and the ceremony can take place indoors or out of doors, at home, at the beach, in the woods, underneath a tent or out in the sunshine

prayer, poetry, singing, dancing, storytelling, music

And who is wise?
One who learns from everyone.

And who is mighty?
One who controls one's urges.

And who is rich?
One who is happy with what one has.

Pirkei Avot 4:1

How shall we sanctify God's name?
 By being holy ourselves.
How do we accomplish this?
Let our prayers bring us to sacred deeds,
to actions that promote justice, harmony and peace.
